Via a comprehensive branch network and with optimal route planning, transmed ensures that our pharmacy customers are supplied quickly and flexibly. Besides the German market, the company is also represented with branches in Austria, Switzerland, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic.

 

In addition, transmed is a specialist for in-night deliveries to opticians and technician organisations, as well as the same-day supply to automotive repair shops.

Industry logistics – Optics:

 

transmed delivers opticians and ophthalmologists in Germany and Europe. The delivery vehicles call at a total of up to 11,500 destination addresses per night with ophthalmic lenses, contact lenses, implants and materials for optic surgery and delivers more than 80,000 consignments per distribution night in own messenger boxes.


Industry logistics – Technology:

 

During the night, transmed delivers urgently needed spare parts directly to the technician's car boot, as well as to hospitals and fixed drop-off points. This ensures that the technician does not loose any time collecting necessary spare parts from a central warehouse, as they will already be in his car, or at the job site. In this way, more than 8,000 urgent spare part deliveries are made every night to more than 2,500 defined delivery addresses.

 

transmed serves well-known vehicle manufacturers and wholesalers with respect to the same-day supply of urgently required spare parts to repair shops. Deliveries to repair shops are based on an exclusive transportation network that allows supply within a few hours.
