As of February 2011, Dr. Friedrich von Heyl (42) took over responsibility for internal and external communications of PHOENIX group. He reports directly to Mr. Reimund Pohl, Chief Executive Officer. Mr. von Heyl follows Mr. Olaf Teichert, who had been in charge of communications in addition to his key responsibility as Head of Legal. Before joining PHOENIX group, Mr. von Heyl was Head Communications of the German subsidiary of AstraZeneca PLC, London. Earlier, he was Group Spokesman of Schering AG, Berlin.
