Sven Seidel, currently member of the Executive Board of the Otto Group, Hamburg, and responsible for Multichannel Retail, will succeed Oliver Windholz, currently CEO of PHOENIX group, as Chairman of the Executive Board as of November 1, 2019. Windholz will leave the PHOENIX group as published on September 30, 2019.Before joining the Otto Group, Seidel was CEO of Lidl from 2014 to 2017, where he played a decisive role in driving global growth, vertical diversification and digital transformation.

Marcus Freitag will join the Executive Board of the PHOENIX group on November 1, 2019. He will be responsible for the newly established function Sales and Marketing Pharmaceutical Wholesale/ Pharmacy Solutions. Freitag joined PHOENIX in 2007 and has been Managing Director of PHOENIX Germany since 2017, where he is responsible for sales.
Frank Große-Natrop, member of the PHOENIX group Executive Board since February 1, 2014 and responsible for Operations and Logistics throughout Europe, will retire as planned on January 31, 2021. The search for a successor is ongoing.
